A setting ceramic based on matrices of Fused Mullite, Sintered Mullite, Alumina, Zirconia Mullite, Fused Spinel and Fused Silica. The choice of matrix is dependant upon the property you require which may be:
- Thermal shock resistance
- Glass erosion resistance
- Electrical insulation
- Low Thermal Expansion
Applications include:
- Mould repair of ceramic shells in Precision Casting
